Survey for stakeholders by WG4 of SUSTAIN

Survey for stakeholders by WG4 of SUSTAIN

Please answer the questionnaire prepared by the SUSTAIN COST Action CA22144 working group 4 which aims to collect data on stakeholder inputs on sustainable use of salt-affected lands and capacity building. The use and protection of salt-affected lands are of critical importance in countries participating in the SUSTAIN Action. In this context, the results of this survey will inform policy development at both national and international levels. All responses will be kept confidential and will be used only for the Action. We expect you to fill out the survey, which will be shared with you as a stakeholder on salt-affected soils and will take 10 minutes of your time, by March 30. As you fill it out, it will ensure that the research produces sound results if you share it with your colleagues registered in your network, policy makers and all relevant stakeholders.

COST Action CA22144

Salinisation, the accumulation of water-soluble salts in the soil, is one of the major causes of soil degradation affecting 833 million hectares of land and 1.5 billion inhabitants worldwide. However, these lands can be used by applying saline agriculture, involving soil, water and salt-tolerant crop management methods.
