Inclusiveness Target Countries Conference Grants
A new call for ITC Conference Grants is about to open, please find below the dates and deadlines information.
Applicants to this Grant must be affiliated to an Institution located in an Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC Country, with the full list available on EU COST website).
Funding: up to EUR 2000 for face-to-face conferences or EUR 500 for virtual conferences

To participate to the call please fill the Template available at:
https://www.cost.eu/ITCG-application-template
The formal acceptance from the selected Conference in a mandatory requisite for participating to the call.
Additionally, please provide together with the template:
- Detailed draft budget to motivate your economic request.
- Description of the connection between the work you will present and the COST Action SUSTAIN
After the ITC Conference Grant:
Complete a Report within 2 weeks from the day of your presentation using the report Template available at:
https://www.cost.eu/ITCG-report-template
The submission of Report within 2 weeks from the day of your presentation is a condition of the award and is required to receive the funds.
The presentation/poster should explicitly acknowledge the Cost Action by adding “This presentation/poster is based upon work from COST Action SUSTAIN, CA21144, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology)”.
Funding is also subjected to the acknowledgement of the inclusion of necessary supporting documents to claim the grant:
- the certificate of conference attendance.
- the program of the conference or book of abstracts / proceedings indicating the presentation (oral or poster) of the grantee.
- copy of the given presentation (oral or poster).

Sultan Akyol
Supported by the COST Action ‘SUSTAIN – Sustainable use of salt-affected lands’, PhD student Sultan Akyol from Pamukkale University participated in the ICONST Conference held in Budapest, Hungary (28–30 May 2025) through an ITC Conference Grant.
Yasar Selman Gültekin
Thanks to the support of the SUSTAIN grant, I successfully participated in the 7th International Conference on Natural Sciences and Technologies (ICONAT 2025), held in Fethiye, Türkiye, from July 12 to 14, 2025.
