We are happy to announce a new call within the SUSTAIN COST Action for
Two calls for virtual mobility grants are open!
Please find below the description of what our Action is looking for:
Profile 1: VM Grant extending salinity-related initiatives for the task 4.1. of SUSTAIN _ We are looking for a person willing to co-create a living map with existing initiatives on salt-affected areas to show the main hubs for research and activities on saline agriculture. The initiatives will be added to Saline Agri Map (https://www.salineagrimap.com/) managed in partnership with VU Amsterdam, SUSTAIN COST Action, Netherlands Food Partnership (NFP) and Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).
Profile 2: VM Grant addressing WG5 activities _ We are looking for a person that can contribute to the WG5 activities by creating a database with contacts from countries participating in the project to organise meetings with local authorities and government extension agents with the aim of exchanging experiences and suggesting policy actions including the topic of salinisation in the European policy agenda. The organization of a webinar will also be implemented to further disseminate the activities results.

To candidate for Profile 1 or 2, please select the topic of the VM Grant you would like to contribute (Profile 1 or 2) according to your interests and find below important dates:
Call opens: 1/01/2026
Call deadline: 15/02/2026
Decision communication: 1/3/2026
Period to participate to the VM Grant: 1/01/2026 – 15/09/2026
Report delivery deadline: within 2 weeks from the end of the activities
Funding:
Profile 1: up to 1250 euros
Profile 2: up to 1250 euros

The submission of Report within 2 weeks from completing the activities is a condition of the award and is required to receive the funds.
